Adrian Green – CEO

Adrian Green is the Chief Executive Officer of 55 Group.  Adrian has been an entrepreneur and patriot his entire career.  Prior to becoming the head of 55 Group, Adrian spent the last 10 years launching and growing 55 Industries, Solana Repair Services, Skyspace Management, and Aries Aerospace, ultimately combining all four companies into 55 Group.

Before building 55 Group, Adrian worked overseas in the textile industry for more than ten years and started his first company, Green Apple Interiors, a design and importing company.   After selling GreenApple, Adrian opened Maya Property Management and his first Aerospace company, Shoreline Aerospace.  Adrian serves as Treasurer of Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces (FFIDF), is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Hebrew, and is a Miami Judicial Board Review Volunteer award recipient.  Adrian is privileged to be a national youth rugby coach, London Junior Squash Champion, proud Father, Grandfather and Husband .

Adrian received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Leeds University in Textile and Business Management and did post graduate work in Desert Studies.

Ami Zelcer

Ami Zelcer – President

Ami Zelcer is the President of 55 Group.  Ami is an accomplished international senior executive, with an excellent track record of top-level management with proven success in marketing and business development including M&A activity, joint ventures, and engineering product development.  Prior to joining 55 Group in 2012, Ami was Vice President and General Manager of Aeroframe Airepairs, an FAA repair station.

Before joining Aeroframe Airepairs, Ami spent 25 years holding multiple senior leadership positions at Klune Logistics, Dynatech Turbine Services, Kellstrom Industries, AAR Corp., AAR Aircraft Component Services, and TAT Aero Equipment Industries.  Ami was responsible for various aspects of the companies to include P&L, operations, marketing and business development, finance, and multiple transformative initiatives resulting in increased productivity and profitability.

Ami received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science, both in Mechanical Engineering, from The Ohio State University.

Ofer Klein

Ofer Klein – COO 

Ofer Klein is the Chief Operating Officer of 55 Group. Ofer has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial and defense aerospace industries as well as an additional 5 years serving in the IDF Ordnance Corps maintaining and supporting their Armored Corps.

As a creative, innovative, and agile leader, Ofer has a history of creating new business models and directing teams that brought businesses from loss to profit.

Throughout his career, Ofer has held high leading positions with large amounts of P&L responsibility for key organizations in the aerospace and defense industries including Urdan, AAR, Kellstrom Industries, Dynatech Intl., LIMCO-Piedmont and Cargotec.

As an Engineering Projects Manager working for Urdan Industries (a major Israeli OEM that manufactured the Merkava tanks and parts for the Kfir fighter Aircraft), Ofer was part of the Design and Manufacturing teams of multiple aerospace and defense projects for the IDF, as well as NATO and the US DOD.

Ofer received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA from the University of the NEGEV in Israel.

Paul Meyer

Paul Meyer – VP Compliance

Paul Meyer is currently the 55 Group Chief Compliance Officer where he oversees the creation, execution and compliance of corporate plans and programs.  Paul manages the compliance of internal and external organizational directives to ensure a continued execution of an effective system of corporate operations and procedures.  He also conducts the auditing, monitoring and collection of data necessary in the execution of strategic plans.

Prior to joining 55 Group, Paul served in the United States Air Force retiring in the rank of colonel after 34 years of service.  Colonel Meyer served in leadership roles including as the 412th Test Wing Senior Reserve Advisor advising the commander on the employment of Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve resources in support of the Total Force Concept in developmental test and evaluation.  He also served as the Air Force Test Center Vice Commander, United States Air Force Test Pilot School Commandant (Dean), 412th Test Wing Inspector General and Air Force Test Center Inspector General.

As an aviator, Paul has performed instructor pilot duties for over 26 years with 3000+ hours in the T-38A/C and AT-38B aircraft in missions such as safety chase, weapons delivery, and Space Shuttle approaches. He currently exercises a rotary-wing private and a fixed-wing airline transport license with over 14,000 hours in almost all Boeing aircraft types as well as the Airbus A320.

Paul was commissioned through the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado in 1988 where he received a Bachelor of Science.  He completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Redlands in 2005.

Steve Haro

Steve Haro – Chief Growth Officer

Steve is the CEO of Aries Aerospace and will provide leadership to help the commercial aviation industry come out of the pandemic-driven shock stronger by developing and implementing customized service programs to minimize aircraft operator variable costs and to help them drive efficiency into their operations.  He is also the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) for the 55 Group of companies where still will help develop and deploy new capabilities with existing markets while leveraging the 55 Group’s strengths into adjacent markets.

A proven senior executive he has over 30 years leading many organizations and companies to successfully overcome internal organizational challenges, accelerate top-line revenue growth, improve margins, and win in the market. His B2B and B2C experiences span from small tech start-ups to multi-billion-dollar global companies. For Mitsubishi Aircraft, he strengthened the company’s market image, maximized the effectiveness of a global team, and challenged the industry to return humanity to air travel in Regional Aviation. Under his leadership, he provided the market requirements to establish an all-new product line, developed an award-winning brand, delivered effective go-to-market strategies, created a superior customer experience, and maximized the company’s perceived value and competitive advantages with global audiences.

With over three decades at Boeing, he has an extensive background in aerospace working in a variety of disciplines including Engineering, Manufacturing, Commercial Services, and Support, Sales & Marketing, Strategy, and most recently he worked in Boeing’s new Airplane Development organization.  Steve continues to provide leadership to the industry as he fulfills his term as Chairman of the board for Global AVX, an innovative new digital platform designed to revolutionize the way aircraft and engines are transacted globally located in the heart of lessors, Dublin, Ireland.
