Paul Meyer – CEO

Paul Meyer is currently the 55 Group Chief Executive Officer who is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the company and closely coordinates and works with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.  Paul previously served as the President of the Company where he worked to integrate machine and supply chain operations.  He also worked as Vice President of Compliance where he oversaw 55 Group ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev. D certifications.

Prior to joining 55 Group, Paul served in the United States Air Force retiring in the rank of colonel after 34 years of service.  Colonel Meyer served in leadership roles including as the 412th Test Wing Senior Reserve Advisor advising the commander on the employment of Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve resources in support of the Total Force Concept in developmental test and evaluation.  He also served as the Air Force Test Center Vice Commander, United States Air Force Test Pilot School Commandant (Dean), 412th Test Wing Inspector General, and Air Force Test Center Inspector General. 

As an aviator, Paul has performed instructor pilot duties for over 26 years with 3000+ hours in the T-38A/C and AT-38B aircraft in missions such as safety chase, weapons delivery, and Space Shuttle approaches. He currently exercises a rotary-wing private, fixed-wing flight instructor, and airline transport licenses with over 14,000 flight hours in almost all Boeing aircraft types as well as the Airbus narrowbody aircraft.  

Paul was commissioned through the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado in 1988 where he received a Bachelor of Science.  He completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Redlands in 2005.

Arlene Landete - Comptroller

Arlene Landete – Comptroller

Arlene is a Cuban-American, born in California and raised in Miami. She’s been in finance for over 13 years and with 55 Group for over 10 of them. Her integrity, dedication, and loyalty are essential assets to the organization. 

In the current role as 55 Group’s Comptroller, Arlene works diligently to keep all the financials in line with our priorities. 

Arlene not only has worn multiple hats within the company, but in her free time, she is a fearless DIYer who is not afraid of picking up power tools and creating beautiful projects. 

Before joining our team, she worked for many years at an investment company in Fort Myers, where her specialty was in 1031 exchange and self-directed IRA plans. 

Arlene loves family and traveling, especially to Hawaii.

Viviana Henao - Sales Manager

Viviana Henao – Director of Supply Chain

Viviana is a Colombian-American who arrived in the United States at the early age of 16. Her values revolve around familism, which ties in with her ethical business principles.

Viviana’s entrepreneurial spirit has allowed her to advance and develop a career in the aerospace field. She has over 15 years of experience in the commercial and government sectors, which has brought value to 55 Group. 

She leads a qualified team through constant training and generates tangible solutions that exceed expectations on established goals.

The continued preparation in the industry has allowed her to establish excellent relationships with each client, finding prompt solutions according to their needs. Her negotiating skills enable external vendors to secure advantageous terms for both parties achieving our primary goal of satisfying clients and suppliers.

Jose Gallardo - Purchasing Manager

Jose Gallardo – Purchasing Manager

Jose arrived from Colombia at the age of 18 and immediately got involved in the challenging market of the supply chain. He served in the US ARMY as a Transportation/Logistics Management Coordinator (2002-2010) Veteran (OIF-OEF.)

Jose has worked in the commercial Aerospace since 1997 with different airlines as Store and Purchasing Manager and worked as Heavy maintenance Material Representative with different overseas MROs.

In 2017 Jose joined 55 Group, where his commercial aviation background was valuable for the benefit of the military market. He is currently responsible for acquiring goods for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program by evaluating awards received and bid submissions, creating purchasing proposals for potential suppliers, and negotiating with vendors.



55 Group and its member companies serve as the strategic connection between manufacturers and both defense and commercial customers on a large variety of platforms, systems and programs. We coordinate, source and supply materials and repair services for these markets while specializing in aging and legacy platforms.
